Similar in approach to Justin Broadrick's Techno Animal project, Mind of God creates dub-like textures with a vaguely metallized sheen; a sort of outer-realms club music crafted out of plodding drums, decaying guitars, and all manner of industrialized sound. Incredibly narcoleptic, mesmerizing, syrupy, and hypnotic, 'Electro-Battle Preparation Tactics' weaves its way through despair and violence towards a suitably bleak and nightmarish conclusion.
